Regional Sectors

It is the mandate of the Schooner Regional Development Corporation to stimulate investment, growth and diversification of the economy of the region.  As a result of strong partnerships, innovative projects and key stakeholder involvement, the Burin Peninsula continues to experience economic growth.  This region through strategic planning and financial support from all levels of government and private sector investment, has improved and expanded its infrastructure to enable this region to capitalize on major projects on the horizon.
