Committees & Working groups of zone 16...

To provide for more effective and efficient operations and to produce greater results in its activities, the SRDC has identified appropriate subcommittees.  A detailed terms of reference has been developed for each subcommittee in consultation with committee members to outline roles, responsibilities, exit strategy and expected results which are tied to the board's IBP. In addition, sector and initiative based sub committees have external stakeholder representation.  SRDC's working groups and setor sub-committees are established to support the initiatives and activities outlined in the IBP.  They will be reviewed on an annual basis, upon completion of each new IBP, to ensure they reflect the current year's initiatives and activities.

The mandate of the Human Resources Committee is to: establish and implement policy to guide and direct the human resources practices of the Board.  The Human Resources committee will support the SRDC in achieving its mandate.
